In support of the XPRIZE competition, Choositoʼs Virtual Librarian will reach hundreds of refugee children with limited or no access to formal education settings this summer through formal research pilot programs with the following organizations:
- o HIAS | Based in Pennsylvania, HIAS provides legal and supportive services to immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
- o Athens Partnership |The Athens Partnership is a philanthropic incubator that leverages existing government resources and cross-sector support to facilitate high-impact public-private partnerships. It is an independent, non-profit entity launched in 2015 on the initiative of Athens Mayor Georgios Kaminis, with lead support from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and strategic guidance from Bloomberg Associates.
- o ELIX | A Greek NGO running the program; Learning for Integration Project: Quality Learning and Non-Formal Education for Refugees and Migrant Children in Greece.
